The Department of Infrastructure is due to start drainage works on Ballagawne Road, Lonan on Monday (September 30).
Teams from the DoI will be installing a new culvert in the carriageway and other associated works.
During the works the road will be closed to through traffic for up to a week.
Access to properties on the road will either be from Begoade Road or the Coast Road dependent on which side of the works the individual property is.
A letter has been delivered to affected residents giving full details of the works.
