Visitors and residents are being urged to double check their vehicle measurements before travelling by ferry, after several vehicles were refused boarding for being larger than the size declared.
The Steam Packet says accurate dimensions are essential, particularly on Manannan, where the mezzanine deck limits available height and space during the TT period.
Vehicles that exceed their booked dimensions cannot be guaranteed shipment, and some have already been turned away as a result.
The reminder applies to all vehicles except motorcycles, and includes any attachments that increase size, such as roof racks, antennae, aerials and bike carriers.
