Choir Raises Over £3k For Charity

Local singers from Roc Vannin Choir have raised £3,147.25 for the Manx Heart Foundation.

The money was raised throughout the year by donations during performances at various events and by busking.

A group of choir members also chose to donate their winnings from a quiz that they took part in.

Karen Chiarello received the cheque on behalf of the charity and said the money will be used to help support the cardiac and cardiac rehabilitation nurses that the Foundation currently funds.

Roc Vannin would like to thank MHF volunteers who supported our events by holding the collecting buckets for donations

Most of all thank you to all who stopped to listen and passers-by who donated.

Roc Vannin will soon be out and about singing again in aid of this year’s charity which is The Live at Home Scheme.
