A Freedom of Information response has revealed that a Board advisor on the Climate Change Transformation Board was paid £789 per day.
The response confirmed that the advisor worked 1.5 days per month, with the final payment made on December 6, 2024.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture released the information following a request for details covering the past two years.

While the full membership list, appointment dates and terms are provided in an appendix, DEFA declined to release individual attendance records for Board members, citing data‑protection exemptions for personal information.
It also notes a recent change in political representation: Joney Faragher MHK joined the Board in January 2026 as the Department of Infrastructure’s representative during the absence of Dawn Kinnish MLC.
