Overnight the Coastguard was asked has aside the Ambulance Service with arranging an urgent medical transfer to the UK.
Douglas Coastguard were tasked at 1:35am to set up and secure the helipad at Noble’s, which was arranged by 1:50am.
The helicopter arrived on the island shortly after 2:30am and, after the patient and medical team had been safely transferred, it left at 3:30am.
The Coastguard said: “Thanks to all involved for a safe & efficient transfer and we wish the patient well.”
