A delightful headline, for an equally as delight weekend – but it sums it up, it’ll be cold, dull and windy.
I wish I was coming here to say, OMG guys! Heatwave! OMG, snow day! But no, it’ll just be fairly crappy and cold.
On the upside, we are so so so so so so nearly out of winter – it may not feel like it, but the clocks do change next month!
When the clocks change we’ll all feel reborn and counting down the seconds to sit in a beer garden drinking our life savings away – marvellous.
The Dull Days
We all know February is dull, sometimes it blesses us with a bit of a settled spell, which in fairness it has.
A settled spell of cold weather – which has dried the ground up, but it’s hardly the same as a settled spell of sun.
Even the Met Office agree that today will be “dull” and “gloomy”, it has also forecast a few outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
Winds will be mainly moderate, with temperatures again only reaching 5°C (it feels colder, and my chill blain damaged feet agree).
It’ll be cloudy again tomorrow with patchy rain and still feel cold with fresh to strong southeast winds.
Next Week
I am ALARMED by the lack of ‘settled conditions’ I’m seeing in next weeks forecast.
I like the weather settled, even if that means cold, dull and gloomy.
Monday is forecast to be cloudy with rain arriving later in the day.
With SE winds of 20-25. There will also be a risk of frost and icy patches to start – but mainly on high ground.
Tuesday less rain but still the doom and gloom of cloud.
The Ronaldsway Met Office has forecast the day to be mostly dry but rather cloudy.
Winds very similar to Monday and again, a risk of frost and icy patches to start.
You’re not getting a Mystic Moz this week as honestly Wednesday’s full moon wiped me out, so google it yourself and she’ll be back next week.
