The Information Commissioner has supported a second local authority’s decision to withhold payment details for officers.
Port Erin Commissioners refused to release specific figures for how much it pays its clerks.
Dr Alexandra Delaney-Bhattacharya reviewed the case and found that the Authority was justified in applying the exemption agreeing that this was personal data and exempt.
A similar ruling to Garff Commissioners was published yesterday.
