Concerns of Cat Poisoning in Tromode

A Tromode resident is raising awareness of suspected cat poisoning in the area.

Earlier this month, a resident in the area lost one of their cats after it became acutely unwell and had to be put to sleep.

Very recently, their second cat suffered the same symptoms, was admitted to the vets on IV fluids, and despite treatment was also sadly put to sleep.

Suspected Poisoning

Before either incident, fruit and vegetables known to be toxic to cats were repeatedly found appearing in both the front and back garden of the property in Tromode.

The owner found this “highly unusual and had never happened before”.

Shortly after this, both cats became critically ill in separate incidents.

No Other Cats

Both Arg Beign Vets and Milan Vets have confirmed that no other cats have been brought in over the past three weeks with similar symptoms.

This suggests it is not a widespread environmental issue, however a similar incident has occurred involving a neighbour in Tromode.

The pet owners are hoping in sharing the information above that they can protect other pet owners in the area and local residents are made aware and can take precautions.
