Four of the island’s secondary schools went head‑to‑head in the 2026 Secondary Schools Netball Finals.
Castle Rushen High School, Ballakermeen High School, Queen Elizabeth II High School and King William’s College battled for titles across four age groups.
The finals followed a full-island tournament and were staged at The Roundhouse and the NSC between March 13 and 23.
Castle Rushen enjoyed a standout year, securing three of the four trophies on offer.

Year 8 Final
Castle Rushen claimed the Year 8 title with a confident 22–11 win over King William’s College, showcasing impressive emerging talent. Scarlett Crompton‑Heavey was named Player of the Match.
Year 9 Final
Ballakermeen edged a high‑quality contest to take the Year 9 crown, beating Castle Rushen 22–18. After trailing early, Ballakermeen grew into the game and held firm under late pressure. Dxhuliana Nikolova earned Player of the Match.
Year 10 Final
Castle Rushen secured a narrow 14–13 victory over QE2 in one of the tightest matches of the competition. Strong defensive work from both sides kept the scoreline close throughout, with Darcey Garrett recognised as Player of the Match.
Senior Final
Castle Rushen completed their strong campaign with a 29–21 win over King William’s College in the senior final. The result marks the school’s 25th Senior Trophy, reinforcing their long-standing dominance. Billie Campbell took Player of the Match honours.
The finals highlighted the depth of talent across Manx school netball, with competitive fixtures and standout individual performances throughout. Thanks were extended to organiser Jane Ryder and the Isle of Man Netball umpires who supported the competition.
