Manx players Darryl Hill and Dollin Mercer have advanced to the knockout stage of the BSA European Team Snooker Championships.
The pair beat Denmark by three frames to nil to secure a second win of the group stage which also saw them beat Poland 3-2.
Isle of Man Billiards & Snooker Association said: “The latest game wasn’t of the highest quality, Darryl potting frame ball green in frame 1 and although he tried to throw it away on the brown, his white just stayed up.
“Frame 2 was comfortable and included a good 49 break. Then in frame 3, just as the Danes started to show some form the Manx pair snatched it on the black by taking all the colours.”
Their next match is at 8pm tonight.
