The owners of Delissimo and Appetites have called off a potential sale and instead announced a new expansion into Ramsey.
The businesses were placed on the market several months ago following an intensely demanding summer period characterised by staff shortages and relentless operations.
While the sale attracted strong interest, the owners have decided to retain the companies.
In a post on Facebook, they said: “The offers didn’t feel like they matched the heart, soul, and sheer graft we’ve poured into this business.”
They added that remaining in the challenging hospitality trade might be seen as “a smidge reckless,” but confirmed a new venture is proceeding.
“But guess what? We’re not just staying… we’re doubling down. Delissimo – Ramsey is on the way!”
