The education department is drafting an Emergency Planning Policy to provide guidance on learning from home.
Minister Daphne Caine said her department manages provision of work to students in a number of ways.
However, she added: “In respect of online learning provision, the department is currently working on drafting an Emergency Planning Policy, which will provide guidance for schools and UCM on remote education in the instance that the school needs to close due to an emergency incident.”
No further details on the policy’s timeline or scope have been released.
