The Department for Enterprise has grown its workforce by 31.4% since 2018.
Seven years ago, there were 153 employees at the department.
However, government figures have shown that the department now has 201 FTE employees.
This figure includes 26 who are on limited term appointments.
Department Increases
Almost all government departments have grown since 2018.
Treasury has grown its workforce by 46% in the last seven years.
As of December 2024, Cabinet Office employs 371.53 FTE, which is a 6.7% rise from 348.1 in 2018.
Public Workforce
The Department for Environment, Food and Agriculture last year grew its workforce to 214.37 with 20.3 of those employed are on limited term appointments.
Whilst, the Department Home Affairs has grown 11.7% in the last seven years and has 29.8 people on LTA contracts.
