Sight Matters has announced ‘Dining in the Dark’ will return to Corrin Court on April 5.
The evening offers guests a unique opportunity to step into the world of those with sight loss—by enjoying a three-course dining experience in complete darkness.
This one-of-a-kind event challenges guests to rely on their other senses, enhancing the way they experience food and conversation.
From the aroma of each dish to the texture of every bite, Dining in the Dark is a truly immersive and unforgettable experience.
Dining in the Dark
In addition to a three-course meal served in total darkness, the evening will feature a thrilling blind auction with exclusive prizes—adding an extra element of surprise to an already remarkable night.
MHK Rob Callister, who attended last year’s event, described it as: “One of the strangest but best experiences I’ve ever had.
“The food was amazing, but the hardest part was trying to judge how much was on your fork and guessing what you were eating.

“I highly recommend this experience—it’s a powerful reminder that for some, this is their everyday reality.”
Raising Money For Sight Matters
Proceeds from the evening will support Sight Matters’ vital work assisting blind and visually impaired individuals across the Isle of Man.
Tickets are £75 per person and are available now, however spaces are limited, so early booking is advised.
