A popular sensory fundraising event is set to return this year as Sight Matters announces the 2026 edition of Dining in the Dark.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 25 at Corrin Court in Onchan as part of the charity’s 90th anniversary celebrations.
Guests will experience a three‑course meal without the use of sight, offering a striking insight into the daily realities faced by people living with visual impairment.
The evening aims to raise awareness of sight loss while providing a memorable social occasion.
Doors open at 7pm, with the dining experience beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £75, including the meal, a bottle of wine, and entry to a raffle and blind auction.
Dining in the Dark has become one of Sight Matters’ most talked‑about events, encouraging participants to rely on their other senses and fostering greater understanding of visual impairment.
Places are limited, and early booking is advised. Tickets can be reserved by emailing events@sightmatters.im or calling 674727.
