The Steam Packet says divers will inspect its flagship Manxman before an update is given for tonight’s sailings.
Manxman appeared to have grounded in Douglas Harbour tonight leaving her and her passengers stuck for about 90 minutes.
The ship has now berthed and passengers have been able to get ashore after the sailing from Liverpool.
Manxman was due to leave for Heysham at 7:15pm, but this is now delayed.
The company said: “Due to the delayed arrival of the previous sailing caused by tidal restrictions.
“This sailing will run with a delay.
“Divers will now undergo a mandatory inspection and an update will follow once complete.”
