DoI Wants Residents to Take Responsibility For Trees

The local authority also has concerns that it will be contracted to cut trees and hedges over two meters which also used to be carried out by the DoI – and would have to charge residents for this.

The commissioners are currently responsible for cutting back hedges before and after nesting season, but will carry it out if it becomes a road safety issue.
