Double Clears For Ingham at Belsay

Yasmin Ingham enjoyed a productive weekend at Belsay Horse Trials, producing a string of clear jumping rounds across both the CCI4*S and CCI2*S classes.

Reflecting on her 4* rides, Ingham said Goliath du Loir (Gogo), Kinda Corvette (Cory) and Gypsie du Loir (Gigi) all gave her “class rides” around a tricky cross‑country track, each delivering a double clear and picking up only time penalties.

All three finished just outside the top ten, with Gogo placing 12th, Cory 16th and Gigi 18th. Ingham described the runs as ideal preparation for their upcoming three‑day events, adding that the trio “have such a future ahead of them.”

Her World Championship partner Banzai du Loir completed a smart dressage test, faultless showjumping round before being withdrawn ahead of the cross country phase.

In the 2* classes, Ingham continued her consistent form. Club Class produced a polished performance to finish 4th, adding only minimal time across country after a clear showjumping round. Joli Coeur Menjoulet also completed the section, finishing 38th after one pole in the showjumping phase, but a clear round cross country.

Ingham thanked organisers, her team, sponsors and owners for their support, praising Belsay for delivering another well‑run event.
