Douglas Beach Day

Today sees Douglas Beach Day, a feel-good celebration packed with free activities, live entertainment, and fun for the whole family.

The event kicks off with a wellbeing morning at 9am, with the rest of festivities on Queen’s Promenade starting at 11am and running until 4pm.

What’s on?

  • Giant bouncy castles
  • Tie-dye, face painting, rock painting & crafts
  • Live buskers bringing the summer vibes
  • Sandcastle competition, beach games and metal detecting
  • Soundbaths, mindfulness, sea dips and a beach sauna
  • Delicious food vendors and local community stalls

Whether you’re coming for a dip in the sea, to let the kids burn off energy, or just to relax with an ice cream and enjoy the view, there’s something for everyone at Beach Day.

Everything is completely free to attend, and no booking is needed.
