Michael Dunlop stormed to a second win of the week as he secured his 10th supersport TT win in a row.
The Northern Irishman also added to his own TT overall record, making it his 35th win around the course.
On the first lap, Dean Harrison led by 1.4 seconds at Glen Helen with Peter Hickman 2.796 seconds behind and Paul Jordan just 0.853 behind him in fourth.
That gap at the front had stretched to 2.665 seconds by the time the leaders were through Ramsey Hairpin and 3.859 at Bungalow, with Hickman, Jordan, Mike Browne and Dom Herbertson completing the top six.
As they pitted at the end of lap one, the Honda racer just passed Browne on the road coming through Glencrutchery Road, but the latter was just over two seconds quicker and overtook him back out at the end of the lane.
However, Dunlop was by far the quickest in back out as his team did a 31.4 seconds stop and by the time they reached Glen Helen he had overtaken Harrison by 1.671 seconds, with Hickman in third and Jordan in fourth.
Dunlop’s lead had stretched to 4.092 seconds by Balluagh Bridge as he went through Sulby speed trap at 176.786mph, seeing him kick further ahead, leading by 7.628 seconds in Ramsey with Hickman 15 seconds down in third.
Behind them, Jordan, Browne, Herbertson, Jamie Coward, Shaun Anderson, Ian Hutchinson and Nathan Harrison completed the top 10.
After a lightning quick burst over the Mountain, Dunlop led by just over 16 seconds at the start of the final lap as he closed in on his record extending 35th TT win.
Chasing down Harrison on the road, Dunlop was 22.716 seconds clear at Ramsey Hairpin and 24.791 seconds at Bungalow as crowds rose from the hedges to clap in the leaders.
While MD wouldn’t catch Harrison on the road, he came close along Glencrutchery Road as he received the congratulations from fans and celebrated with a burnout.
Hickman followed the front two behind in third, with Jordan in fourth, Brookes in fifth and Herbertson in sixth.
