Most flights to and from Ronaldsway from 4pm this afternoon have been cancelled.
The only surviving flight is the 4.25pm flight to Geneva.
Aer Lingus and Loganair have cancelled their flights to Dublin and Manchester respectively, while Loganair’s Heathrow flights had already been cancelled.
South or southwest winds this evening and at first tonight are likely produce gusts between 60-70mph across the whole island, with a risk of 70-80mph in places.
The wind is due to die down overnight, which is allowing the Heysham sailing from 2:15am sailing on Sunday to go ahead as scheduled.
However, there is a risk to Sunday’s 8:30am sailing to Heysham and afternoon return, but the Larne sailing is set to sail as scheduled.
