Two Manx athletes delivered strong results at the British Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships at Lee Valley last weekend.
Competing in the men’s 35 age group, Daniel Stewart‑Clague claimed silver in the 60 metres in 7.27 seconds and bronze in the 200 metres with 23.32 seconds.
Ewelina Hand, competing in the women’s 40 age group, impressed across four events, taking second in the triple jump (9.84m), third in the 400 metres (1:07.23), and recording 29.77 seconds in the 200 metres, along with fourth in the long jump (4.29m).
Both athletes now prepare for the European Masters Championships in Poland at the end of March.
Ewelina will compete in the same range of events, while Daniel will focus on the 60 metres.
