The Police have told Manx.News that five vehicles were involved in yesterday’s crash near Ballaleece Bridge.
Part of the Peel to Douglas road was closed until for several hours due to the amount of vehicles involved and to clear the carriage way.
No injuries were reported at the incident.
Second Crash
There was another incident in a near by part of the island yesterday (February 5) on the switchback.
The incident that shut the road for several hours involved a cyclist, but no vehicles.
The road was shut as the Department of Infrastructure had to carry out urgent road repairs.
As it is an ongoing investigation the Police said they are unable to provide any further information at this time.
