Regan Corrin only returned on Tuesday from Slovakia, where he finished fourth in the European U18 Championships high jump representing Great Britain.
That didn’t stop the athlete from turning out on a miserable evening at the NSC for the latest round of the Baker Tilly Isle of Man Track and Field League.
Having swapped his Great Britain vest for a Manx Harriers one, Regan took on the long jump last night (July 24), and with the aid of a tailwind he jumped a distance of 6.81 metres.
Afterwards he was congratulated on his wonderful achievements by John Whitlow, who has coached and guided him ever since he first took up high jumping as a very young athlete.
