The Islands Energy Group board has today confirmed that Jo Cox will be leaving her post as the Group’s CEO.
It said Ms Cox is leaving to pursue a new opportunity as CEO of a company within a different industry sector.
Aidan Baglow, previously managing director of Isle of Man Energy has taken over as Interim Group CEO with immediate effect.
He has worked in gas operations, project management and technical lead roles for more than 36 years and joined Isle of Man Energy in 2008 and is based in the Isle of Man.
“Jo joined IEG in 2021 and has successfully managed the Group through one of the most turbulent times in its history,” said Aidan Baglow. “We wish her well in her new venture.”
