easyJet says its flights between Ronaldsway and Gatwick have been cancelled tonight due to a technical fault with the airplane.
Passengers said they were told of a two hour delay before the flight was cancelled with no reason being given.
The flight was due to arrive on the island 7:30pm and leave again at 8pm.
The airline has said on its website: “We’re sorry that your flight has been cancelled.
“This is because the safety of you and our crew is our highest priority and a technical issue with the aircraft could not be resolved.
“We understand that this will be disappointing news and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to make new plans, so here’s everything you need to know about what to do next.”
