King Gaming and its associated companies have not receive any direct or indirect public funds, the Chief Minister has said.

The Gambling Supervision Commission cancelled the licences of King Gaming and Dalmine Limited, which remain under investigation.

Responding to questions from Jason Moorhouse (Arbory, Castletown and Malew), Alf Cannan said: “The Minister for Enterprise met with associated representatives of the named companies on October 30 2023.

“No other Ministerial meetings are recorded in the last five years. No financial support has been provided, either directly or indirectly.”

He added that as there is an ongoing police investigation involving the named companies, he is “unable to comment any further on the matter at this time”.
