A boat charter company in the south of the island is mourning the loss of its Captain, Bob Taylor.
Gemini Charter, which runs fishing and wildlife trips out of Port St Mary, shared the sad news today (February 18).
Commenting on the passing of the 81-year-old it said: “It is with our deepest sorrow to announce Captain Bob passed away yesterday leaving us with a big pair of boots to fill, but he will always be with us, in our hearts, never to be forgotten.”
Manx Wildlife Trust paid its tribute to Bob saying: “Bob was a good friend of Manx wildlife, especially our marine life, and he featured heavily in our Wildlife Remembered short film.”
