Peel Golf Club has announced it will hold inaugural it’s ‘MANXMAS – Christmas Market on the Links’ celebration in support of local charities.
The event, which features Christmas markets stocked by local vendors, will take place on Sunday, November 15 from 11am to 5pm.
Admission will be free, and parking is available on site at no charge.
Christmas shopping, festive food and drink, themed family photos, raffle prizes and seasonal entertainment will be in the offing throughout the day’s proceedings.
Jana Watterson, Steward of Peel Golf Club, says: “We’re really excited to be launching MANXMAS for the first time this year. We wanted to create something festive and welcoming that gives local makers and small businesses a great platform, while also raising money for three charities that mean a great deal to the club.
“We hope it becomes a new Christmas tradition for Peel and the wider island community.”
For a Good Cause
The club’s captains have selected three beneficiary charities to receive a share of the funds raised on the day.
The Diana Princess of Wales Hospice Care at Home Trust, Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association, and Diabetes Isle of Man have all been named and will be given an equal share of the income collected.

Local makers, creators, small businesses and food producers are now invited to come forward and apply for an indoor stall.
A single 5ft pitch is priced at £30, while a double spot will cost £55. Prospective companies are advised that applications will be carefully considered to avoid similar stands, and are subject to approval.
