Team leader of ArthEsy, Guy McGuinness has been awarded the JA Alumni Europe Leadership Award in Athens.
Guy’s team of five students from Ballakermeen High School want to make everyday life easier for people living with arthritis.
Yesterday (July 2), was presentation day at #Gen_E 2025, with Europe’s top student teams stepping into the spotlight to pitch their boldest ideas.

ArthEsy presented EsyCutter and EsyFueler, two products designed to make everyday tasks easier for people living with arthritis and other conditions.
Thoughtfully designed and purpose-driven, their inventions aim to remove frustration and bring independence back to simple routines.
Junior Achievement Isle of Man said: “Their confidence, creativity and professionalism truly shone on stage, showing just how capable and compassionate our island’s young people are.
“From the strength of their idea to the way they worked together as a team, they impressed both the judges and the audience alike.
“We’re incredibly proud of everything they’ve achieved and how brilliantly they represented Ballakermeen and the Isle of Man on the international stage.”
