Laxey’s Dean Harrison made a stunning start to the 2025 TT, topping the Superbike qualifying session with a record lap of 133.069mph—the fastest ever on an opening night.
Honda Racing’s Harrison led the field, with Davey Todd (131.231mph) fastest in Superstock on the Monster Energy by 8TEN Racing BMW. Michael Dunlop (127.181mph) and Rob Hodson (119.521mph) dominated Supersport and Supertwin classes, while Ryan and Callum Crowe (118.797mph) led a shortened Sidecar session due to fog on the Mountain.
Superbike & Superstock: Harrison and Todd Shine
The session began at 6:30pm, with Harrison setting an early benchmark of 130.897mph before improving to 133.069mph. Peter Hickman (131.076mph) and Dunlop (129.975mph) followed, while Todd’s 131.231mph put him top in Superstock.
Supersport & Supertwin: Dunlop and Hodson Impress
Dunlop’s Milwaukee Ducati led Supersport with 127.181mph, while Hodson’s SMT Racing Paton topped Supertwin at 119.521mph. Stefano Bonetti (116.579mph) and Barry Furber (116.050mph) also showed strong pace.
Sidecars: Crowes Lead Before Fog Halts Running
The Crowe brothers set the fastest lap (118.797mph) before conditions worsened, cutting the session short.
Qualifying continues on Thursday with roads closing at 6pm.
