Dawn Atherton of Western AC has earned her second England Masters vest after being selected to represent England.
She will represent England in the women’s 40 category in a match against Wales which is incorporated into the Swansea Half Marathon on June 8.
In July she will make her Isle of Man debut in the Half Marathon at the Island Games in Orkney.
These are all magnificent achievements by an athlete who came into the sport in her mid to late 30s, and has proved that dedication and focus can take you a long way in athletics.
