The Steam Packet’s performance during TT will be the focus of the opening question in Keys tomorrow morning.
Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will ask Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson whether the company met all sea services demand during TT 2025.
The company reported a 5% increase on last year’s record total of passengers brought to the island for TT.
With Manxman and Manannan carrying the passenger traffic, the Ben-my-Chree handled much of the freight as the company used its three Manx based vessels, the MV Arrow being on charter to Jersey.
However, while the company reported an increase in traffic, it did experience disruption with Manannan running two hours behind schedule through the middle weekend before gale force winds forced other sailings to be altered.
