The Infrastructure Minister is to be asked to explain the cost of the Liverpool ferry terminal, again.
Lawrie Hooper recently told the Keys that taxpayers have forked out over £100m on the scheme to date.
Tomorrow he will ask minister Tim Crookall what authorisation has been sought and given for spending on the terminal above that approved by Tynwald.
Tynwald has so far approved £70m for the project, but it is widely accepted that this has been likely been surpassed.
Dispute
Later, Mr Hooper will ask Treasury Minister Chris Thomas how much funding has been set aside to cover legal and professional fees relating to the dispute.
When the issue last came up in Keys, Mr Crookall said the government is seeking to recoup some of the cash it spent on the scheme.
However, according to Construction News, the main contractor John Sisk & Son has said there is no “ongoing dispute” over the contract.
