Institute of Directors Secures Lloyds as Sponsor

Institute of Directors Isle of Man has announced that Lloyds International will continue as its main sponsor in 2026.

This will extend the successful partnership that supports the organisation’s networking and continuing professional development (CPD) programme.

The sponsorship underpins IoD Isle of Man’s ‘Connect’ and ‘Develop’ offer, which delivers events and learning opportunities for members and the wider island business community.

With Lloyds International’s backing, IoD Isle of Man will soon launch ‘The Better Directors Series’, a new CPD programme aligned with a successful UK IoD initiative and designed to bring fresh perspectives to the Island.

Steve Billinghurst, Chair, IoD Isle of Man, said: “Our relationship with Lloyds International has been very positive and supportive and we welcome their decision to continue our sponsor relationship.

“We were able to deliver a series of valuable events through 2025, many hosted at Lloyds’ premises in Douglas, including arranging guests from outside of the Island to speak to our members. In partnership with Lloyds, we are excited to deliver broad awareness and insight into current and upcoming issues to our members and the island’s business leaders.”

Nigel Cheesley, Country Head, Isle of Man at Lloyds, said: “It is our pleasure to continue as the main sponsor in 2026. Supporting the Institute of Directors reflects our commitment to fostering strong leadership and sustainable business practices across the Crown Dependencies.”
