Is The Isle of Man’s Economy Working For You?

The Positive Action Group (PAG) is holding a panel debate which will consider the question: Is the Isle of Man economy working for you?

PAG was established over twenty years ago and seeks to facilitate and improve public participation in politics.

The meeting will see four local industry leaders forming the panel, make a short presentation on their area of economic interest, followed by questions from the audience.

The panel will consist of:

  • John Webster, former IoM Government Economist and business owner; 
  • Tim Baggaley, Director of the Regency Hotel;
  • Sarah Comish, General Secretary, Manx National Farmers’ Union;
  • Carl Joughin, Vice-Chair, Isle of Man Licensed Victuallers Association.  

Local Advocate and Chairman of PAG, Damian Ciappelli, will chair the proceedings on the evening.

The meeting takes place at 7:30pm on September 30 at the Legion Hall, Market Street, Douglas.
