I hope you all enjoy this weekend and the next few days of summer sun, as it seems that’s all folks!
Look it, the weather this weekend shan’t be too crappy and nor shall the early part of next week, but towards next weekend looks like, well, winter.
Today is thankfully forecast to be dry with sunny intervals, with moderate to fresh northeast wind and a top temperature of 19°C.
However there will be the risk of the odd shower overnight into Sunday.
Last Sunday of Summer
Is this the last Sunday of summer? I have a horrible feeling it may be.
Tomorrow (September 22) is forecast to be warm and generally dry (thank the sweet baby Jesus) with top temperatures of 18°C.
Monday is also forecast to be pretty nice and dry with sunny and clear intervals.
It won’t be windy, so no need to batten down the hatches just yet, and there will be top temperature of 17°C.
Goodbye my Lover
Tuesday could be it lads. This could be the moment to cry and sing Goodbye My Lover whilst staring into the last bit of sunshine until May.
It will be dry and bright, then rain late in day and overnight, and the temperature will take a downwards turn and be rather cool.
Whilst I’m now debating booking a one way trip to Australia to escape the winter, I’ll give you the bad news.
I stupidly had a look on XC Weather. I saw 5°C and rain forecast for Thursday. I then closed the app and have just accepted summer is over – I need a very large wine to process this tbh.
ENJOY THIS WEEKEND OF SUN. Do whatever you like, but just spend as much time in the sunshine as humanely possible.
