Two Isle of Man Coastguard teams were called late on Friday night to assist with an urgent medical transfer from Noble’s Hospital Helipad to Aintree Hospital.
Douglas and Castletown Coastguard Rescue Teams, along with the Coastguard Duty Officer, were tasked after a request from the Isle of Man Air Ambulance Service for helicopter support.
Rescue 336 arrived at Noble’s at 11:15pm, where the patient and accompanying medic were quickly and safely transferred before the aircraft departed around 20 minutes later.
The Coastguard thanked the duty officer and Isle of Man Ambulance Service crew for their assistance and said they wish the patient well.
