Living Hope Submits Plans for Ramsey Church

Living Hope has applied to convert an office block in the north of the island into a community building for worship and activities.

The application (25/90002/C) is for Commerce House, Bowring Road, Ramsey.

In its application, the church says it “requires a more permanent home in which to grow and bring the love of Jesus to the local community”.

It said that in the north of the island it has about 85 people connected with the church and an average attendance of between 50 and 60 which is a mixture of adults, youths and children.

With an initial seven year lease planned, it wants to run community groups “such as toddler groups, children’s clubs, youth groups, spaces for individual counselling, community fridge initiative in partnership with the co-op, warm spaces, daytime drop in’s as well as other events benefitting both the church and local community in the North”.

You can view the full application here.
