Local businesswoman Louise Wheeler has been crowned WomenWho Solopreneur of the Year 2025 in the UK, selected from over 300 entries.
Director of L C Consultancy and founder of Elevate You, she was recognised for her outstanding leadership development work.
As well as for creating Elevate You, the Isle of Man’s first awards and community platform celebrating women in business.

The win comes just one year after Louise attended the same awards as a finalist, an experience that inspired the creation of Elevate You.
“The feeling in the room was amazing, and I wanted to bottle that up and transport it back to the Isle of Man,” said Louise.
In September 2025, Louise hosted the inaugural Elevate You Women in Business Awards, attracting over 60 nominations and welcoming 100 guests.
The Awards celebrated women in three categories: Leader, Solopreneur, and Entrepreneur.

“I built Elevate You entirely from scratch, finding sponsors, creating an entry form process, securing judges, marketing and organising the event. The response was incredible and far exceeded my expectations,” said Louise.
Elevate You is designed not just as an annual awards ceremony, but as a community platform providing training, mentorship, networking, and ongoing recognition for women in business throughout the year.
This latest achievement follows Louise’s previous award as Director of the Year (Young and Start-Up category) by the Institute of Directors Isle of Man in 2024.
