Maggie, an 11-year-old Clydesdale from the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, has become an unexpected Facebook star.
A short video of her pulling Tram 36 along Douglas Promenade attracted more than 1.4 million views on the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway Online Facebook page.
One of the tramway’s team of draught horses, Maggie plays a key role in carrying residents and visitors along Douglas’s historic Victorian promenade.
She is currently helping operate services on the northern section of the route that is still open, but may one day return to the Sea Terminal.
