This morning’s Manannan sailing to Liverpool was forced to turn back to Douglas due to a technical issue.
Having left the island shortly after 7am, the fast craft turned back after about half an hour.
The Steam Packet apologised for that cancelled sailing and was transferring passengers to the Manxman.
In relation to the planned return sailing, it said: “Due to a technical issue this sailing has been cancelled.
“Please contact 08722 992992 after 09:30hrs to make alternative arrangements.
“Coach transfers to Heysham will leave Liverpool port between 10:30am and 11am.”
The vessel previously suffered generator failure which led to two days of cancelled sailings.
