Manx Wildlife Week will return at the end of next month, offering an island‑wide programme of events celebrating the island’s natural environment.
Organised by Manx National Heritage in partnership with Manx Wildlife Trust and associated with UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man, the annual initiative invites people of all ages to explore local wildlife through guided walks, nature tours, workshops and talks held at venues across the island.
This year’s schedule from April 25 to May 4 includes expert‑led visits to wetlands, temperate rainforests and coastal habitats, alongside birdwatching sessions, creative nature‑inspired workshops and practical conservation activities.
Families can also take part in outdoor discovery events, wildlife spotting and adventure play.
Wildlife Week
Laura McCoy, Curator for Natural History at Manx National Heritage, said the week offers “a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to connect with the Island’s natural environment” and to gain a deeper appreciation of the species and habitats that make the Biosphere unique.
Events will take place at locations including the Manx Museum, the Curraghs and coastal and countryside sites.
Many activities are free or low‑cost, though some require advance booking.
