The Steam Packet says Manxman has completed her Liverpool berthing trials and will be retuning to service on Friday.
She has undergone two days of trials at the government’s £78m+ ferry terminal and is due to sail to Merseyside on weekend services starting next month.
The company said: “Manxman successfully berthed for the first time at the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool yesterday.
“Manxman will be back in service on Friday October 18 for the 08:45 sailing to Heysham, with the first sailing to Liverpool commencing on Saturday November 9.”
We have sought confirmation from the company that the foot passenger bridge has been successfully trialled with the Manxman after much speculation that she does not line up with the government building.
