Families in Marown can now register their under‑fives for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
It’s after the parish secured funding from new island residents Angela and John Fairbrother through their company, Designer Media.
Parents who register at imaginationlibrary.im by Tuesday, June 2 will receive the programme’s welcome book in July.

Marown becomes the latest area to join the island‑wide rollout, with almost 600 children already receiving a free, age‑appropriate book every month from birth until their fifth birthday.
Registrations are also open in Andreas, Ballaugh, Bride, Douglas, Jurby, Lezayre, Maughold and Patrick.
The scheme operates through a partnership model: local supporters fund books and postage, while The Dollywood Foundation provides the core infrastructure and large‑scale publishing and distribution partnerships. This keeps costs low, with a £26 donation funding a child’s books for a full year.
Angela and John approached the Isle of Man Imagination Library after learning about the initiative and wanting to extend it to more families.
