Vagabonds and Douglas has differing fortunes this week with both sides in league action off island.
Facing the difficult trip to Counties 3 adm Lancashire & Cheshire leaders Garstang, Vagas knew they faced an uphill battle against the side that has won 14 of its 15 games this season.
Despite the team digging in deep, they were thoroughly walloped by their host 105-7 with Cam Findlay scoring the Manx side’s only points with a try which he then converted.
Douglas had a better time out of their trip to Northwich in Regional 2 North West, running out 12-16 winners.
Jonty Cope bagged Douglas’ only try of the afternoon with scrum half Nathan Robson kicking the rest of the points from a conversion and three penalties.
