The Shoulder Road, Patrick is to have centre road studs fitted and this will require some road closures.
Colas (IOM) Ltd is to install the road studs next week on behalf of the DoI, and whilst works are underway the road will be closed to through traffic.
Colas has been granted a daily closure order from 9:15am to 3:30pm daily, from Monday (September 2) for up to seven days.
Stud Works
This work has to be done in dry conditions and the closure order will only be used when conditions are appropriate, and it is anticipated that works will be completed within a couple of days if the conditions are right.
As soon as this work is complete the order will be rescinded.
All the businesses and car park at South Barrule Plantation will be accessible at all times from the junction with the Castletown Road near Foxdale.
