Manx Utilities says people in the area of Westmoreland Road may experience some disruption tonight as it adds a connection to a water mains.
It has planned the work to take place at 11:30pm to minimise disruption to the water supplies in the area.
The authority said it expect that the work will take about six hours.
It said: “There will be some noise during this period. However, this will be kept to a minimum.
“If you experience discoloured water, please run your downstairs taps until this runs clear. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.”
