Police have issued a series of safety reminders following several arrests yesterday, including incidents on closed roads, high speed riding and drug driving.
Officers are again stressing that closed roads must not be entered under any circumstances. Two men were arrested yesterday (May 25) after stepping onto a closed section of the TT course.
Police say entering a closed road, whether riding, driving or on foot, puts lives at risk and may result in being brought before the next available court.
In a separate incident, a rider travelling from Kirk Michael to Ballig was arrested after being recorded at over 118mph in 50mph zones. Officers found the rider to be under the influence of drugs.
The Constabulary is also urging the public to respect TT Marshals, describing them as essential to the safe running of the event. Marshals volunteer their time to protect competitors and spectators, and police are asking the public to follow their instructions at all times.
Two further arrests were made for drunken offences, and several other individuals were held in custody overnight for a range of unrelated matters.
