The Emergency Services Joint Control Room (ESJCR) has released statistics for February 2024, revealing it had It had just shy of 2000 emergency calls.
The Emergency Services had a total of 1994 emergency calls in February alone, with the average time to answer a 999 call is 1.5 seconds.
The ESJCR answered a staggering 16,861 non-999 calls.
It responded to 2657 events; 1260 being Police events, 1258 for Ambulance and 139 fire.
